Hydrometer AirPro - HiPrema Prisma Electronics
With case INCLUDED!
Description
Densitometer AirPro - HiPrema Prisma Electronics
With case INCLUDED!
Specifically designed for 2- and 4-stroke engines, the AirPro densitometer measures the following parameters:
- Temperature
- Pressure
- Relative Humidity
- Relative Altitude
- Air Density
The device stores session data, allowing you to optimize the carburetion based on environmental conditions, improving engine performance.
Wireless connection via the Prisma Electronics app to view and export all stored sessions.
Which parameters are displayed?
• Date and time of the session
• Air temperature - Celsius or Fahrenheit
• Barometric pressure hPa
• Relative altitude m / ft
• Relative humidity %
• Air density - kg/m3 - lb/ft3
What does air density mean?
In technical terms, air density represents the amount of air mass present per unit of volume in a given environment.
It is influenced by three main factors:
• Atmospheric pressure: Higher atmospheric pressure compresses the air molecules, increasing their density.
• Air temperature: Higher temperatures expand the air molecules, reducing density, while lower temperatures increase it.
• Relative humidity: Humid air is less dense than dry air.
Air density in motorsport is a critical parameter because:
• It determines the amount of oxygen available for combustion in the engines.
• It directly influences carburetion and the air-fuel ratio, which in turn affects engine power.
Download all sessions
Up to 50 sessions can be stored on the device. In addition to reviewing the sessions directly on the device, you can download all the data in the app.
All sessions will be linked to the track where the measurements were taken. You can also add notes to each session, such as “Engine Tuning #1.”
Sessions can be exported in PDF format, allowing you to print or share them with your team.
Additionally, all data can be exported to an Excel sheet for further analysis.
