KEY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL
SIMONE COLOMBO - CEO & OWNER
Since taking charge in 2013, I recognized the immense potential within Mondokart—a realization that enabled me to spearhead the transformation of a small brick-and-mortar shop into the world’s leading commercial enterprise in the karting sector.
I oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, setting the strategic direction for Mondokart and turning new ideas and projects into reality.
Throughout my time at Mondokart, I have remained focused on a single goal: ensuring complete customer satisfaction by maintaining immediate in-stock availability for all our products, offering the widest possible range, providing lightning-fast shipping—all at the most competitive market prices.
Born in 1987, I have always been passionate about the world of karting. I spent many years competing in national and international events—most notably in the KZ category—long before my passion and my professional life converged.
I haven’t stopped racing; today, I continue to compete, now behind the wheel of single-seater racing cars, specifically in Formula 2.
MATTIA CALDA - SALES DIRECTOR
I have been part of Mondokart since 2013. I have had the opportunity to experience every stage of its growth firsthand, transforming what began as a passion for the world of karting into a full-fledged professional career.
Today, I serve as Sales Director, managing relationships with our clients and manufacturers worldwide. I strive every day to maintain a direct, tangible connection with those who choose our products. Our goal is simple: to provide high-quality go-kart spare parts, expert knowledge, and fast, efficient service that truly makes a difference.
I also oversee the relationship between our company and FIA Karting, for which we serve as a Title Sponsor. This partnership is a source of great pride for me, and it allows us to remain even closer to the heart of international karting.
Being part of this company from the very beginning means more to me than just selling products; it means truly understanding this world, living it, and contributing to its growth every single day.
CARENZI ALBERTO RENATO - E-COMMERCE & OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Since 2016, I have played an active role in the growth of Mondokart, holding key responsibilities in the strategic management of e-commerce and operational processes—translating innovation, technology, and operational efficiency into tangible development opportunities.
As E-Commerce Director, I lead the management and strategic development of Mondokart.com, with a constant focus on enhancing its performance, visibility, and profitability.
In my capacity as Operations Director, I oversee core e-commerce operations, including logistics, personnel, supply chain, automation, and workflow management.
My passion for karting and motorsport has always been the driving force behind my professional journey; combined with the experience I have gained at Mondokart, it guides me every day as I seek out new opportunities, solutions, and growth objectives.
GIANLUCA FRANCESCONI - CFO
I am a professional registered with the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan, and I have been collaborating with Mondokart S.p.A. since 2019. I began my journey as a tax and corporate consultant, and in 2021, I took on responsibility for the accounting, finance, and administration department.
In my role, I ensure the stability and oversight of economic and financial processes, supporting corporate decision-making and guiding the growth of an international company operating in the e-commerce sector.
Numbers do not merely recount where we have been; they reflect the rigor with which we choose where we are going. Within a company, every financial decision serves as a bridge between the stability of today and the ambition of tomorrow.
Skills derived from the TRACK
Alongside the team that manages Mondokart on a daily basis, there are individuals with specialized skills who represent an important part of our organization.
CLAUDIO CORRADIN - TECHNICAL & WORKSHOP MANAGER
Our go-to person for all matters concerning technical aspects and workshop operations.
I joined the team in 2014, bringing with me experience gained in the world of motorsport from a very young age. Following my initial involvement in the Motorcycle World Championship, I began my journey in karting about twenty-five years ago—first as a driver, and later as an engine and chassis technician.
What began as a great passion has, over time, evolved into a true profession. I dedicate expertise, precision, and the utmost commitment to my work every single day, placing my experience at the service of our clients.
I oversee all workshop operations and technical tasks, personally supervising every stage of the process. My responsibilities include the overhauling and preparation of engines, work on chassis and components, as well as the restoration of vintage engines and chassis.
Each day, I tackle technical challenges and develop concrete, customized solutions, drawing upon knowledge built directly in the field and refined through years of experience in karting.
The workshop is where our expertise in karting takes shape—a place where passion, competence, and technical skill are transformed into tangible results for every client.
MARCO ACQUARELLA - PURCHASING MANAGER
The link between Mondokart and the industry’s leading manufacturers.
I joined Mondokart in 2021, and since 2026, I have served as Purchasing Manager.
In my role, I combine the experience I gained firsthand on the track—both as a driver and as a technician—with the expertise I have developed over time in the commercial and procurement sectors. My intimate knowledge of karting allows me to better understand the actual needs of drivers, teams, and enthusiasts, which guides me in sourcing the most suitable products and solutions.
A passion for karting drives my work every single day. It motivates me to seek out new opportunities, collaborate with the industry’s top manufacturers, and ensure our product range remains comprehensive and up-to-date—offering our customers everything from essential staples to the latest market innovations.
I oversee procurement and supplier relations, working daily to maintain an extensive, current product selection that aligns with the demands of the market.
ROBERTO PIOVANI - TOP-KART MANAGER
Expertise forged directly within the world of karting.
As a mechanical professional with over 10 years of experience, I have built my career in the karting sector, specializing in technical management for international competitions.
My journey with Mondokart began in 2015, leading to my appointment in 2019 as Technical Manager for Top Kart—a company within the Mondokart group.
In this role, I oversee work organization and planning, optimizing production processes while maintaining a meticulous focus on the details of the finished product.
I also collaborate with suppliers to develop innovative components that enhance our products.
I manage and devise prompt solutions to address the specific needs of our dealers.
A structure designed to be fast
Our Megastore in Pogliano Milanese spans over 2,000 m² dedicated to the world of karting.
A showroom, spare parts, apparel, components, a workshop, and dedicated service areas—all housed within a single facility.
But a facility of this scale only makes sense if it serves one specific goal:
to be fast.
Every day, our team handles approximately 400–500 orders, which must be checked, prepared, packed, and shipped.
It is work that often goes unseen by the customer, yet it is precisely what makes our promise of “Always” and “Anywhere” possible.
