Kosmic Mercury T Chassis – KZ

The Kosmic Mercury T – KZ represents the pinnacle of the Kosmic Kart range for shifter categories, combining a winning heritage with continuous technical development and solutions derived directly from top-level international racing.

The chassis is entirely constructed from Ø 30 mm chrome molybdenum steel tubing, featuring proven and continuously refined geometries that ensure an ideal balance between structural rigidity, driving precision and traction in every phase of driving. Extensive adjustment possibilities are available: ride height, stiffness via the front torsion bar, and a wide range of camber and caster adjustments thanks to multi-hole eccentric bushings with integrated uniball.

Winning DNA and continuous development

The Mercury has long been a benchmark model within the Kosmic Kart range, achieving numerous successes in shifter categories. The “T” version is the result of joint development between the OTK Kart Group R&D department and the Kosmic Kart Racing Team, while maintaining the project’s core principles: top-quality materials, advanced manufacturing processes and constant development based on track data.

M11 Bodywork Kit – Advanced aerodynamic efficiency

The Kosmic Mercury T – KZ is equipped with the M11 bodywork kit, developed through CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing. The new M11 front number panel and M11 front spoiler significantly reduce aerodynamic drag, improving top speed, stability and overall performance, especially on fast circuits.
The aerodynamic package is completed by M10 side pods and rear protection, together with a full-length floor tray, which reduces airflow turbulence in the front chassis area. The package is finished with updated, modern graphics, fully aligned with the Kosmic brand identity.

BWZ Braking System – Top performance for KZ

For the KZ category, the Mercury T is equipped with the BWZ braking system, specifically designed for shifter classes. The adopted technical solutions ensure excellent heat dissipation at the pump and calipers, reducing brake fluid temperatures and guaranteeing powerful, progressive and consistent braking performance.
An upgraded brake balance adjuster and fully redesigned front calipers, optimized for stiffness and cooling efficiency, complete the system. The BWZ system is available with 180 mm or 206 mm rear brake disc options.

Adjustable and performance-focused driving position

The chassis features OTK adjustable aluminum pedals and a tilted steering wheel hub, allowing precise customization of the driving position. The HGS steering wheel, with high-grip rubber handles, enhances driving feel and comfort, reducing driver fatigue during demanding KZ racing conditions.
