The Sparco ICE-VEST is a thermal vest created to improve the comfort of drivers and mechanics on the race field, particularly when racing in high temperature locations.

The impact of high temperatures and environmental humidity (on an athlete's endurance performance) can be significant. Correct thermoregulation of the body is important to reduce the risk of hypohydration, to maintain the correct blood pressure, the right brain energy reserves and reduce discomfort by increasing stress tolerance. All these factors help keep performance high.

For this reason it is advisable to minimize dehydration and look for opportunities to cool the skin and body.


Starting from this principle and with the arrival of the first warm weather of the season, Sparco launches the ICE-VEST, the vest created to improve the rider's thermoregulation and comfort, in locations with very high temperatures.


Born from the need to bring refreshment and comfort to the driver and mechanics on the race field and in the paddocks, the ICE-VEST looks like a vest with a zip closure to be worn during breaks in the race and in tests, the lining internal water repellent is equipped with small openings positioned in key points of the chest and back, in which there is the possibility of inserting some elements which, if appropriately conditioned, favor the thermoregulation of the body.
