PREDICTIVE TIMING FUNCTION

During the journey of each lap, the expected lap time and the gain compared to a reference lap selectable from: best of the session - best of the day - better than a session of your choice in memory are shown in advance on the display.

INTEGRATED LIBRARY WITH OVER 1000 CIRCUITS

It allows immediate use thanks to the integrated library with more than 1000 circuits complete with intermediates, among which the device automatically recognizes the current one. In the remote event that your circuit is not included in the library, the SAFD-2 (Starlane Automatic Finish line Detection) function will automatically divide the circuit after the first 2 laps covered, allowing you to see your times and intervals, already from the first session without intervening on the stopwatch.

THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD WITHOUT CABLES

Corsaro is the only system in the world that allows you not to have annoying cables for the acquisition of kart signals, thanks to the wireless data transmission between the small optional WID modules and the display unit.

MAIN FEATURES

1) TRIPLE CONSTELLATION RECEIVER GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO AND ANTENNA INTEGRATED IN THE INSTRUMENT:
the nylon body loaded shockproof glass of CORSARO-II R houses the new dual constellation receiver that uses in symbiosis the satellites of the American GPS system, the Russian GLONASS system and the European GALILEO system. This solution greatly increases its accuracy thanks to the very large number of satellites used to determine the instantaneous position, speed, trajectory and lap time.

2) YOU CAN SAY GOODBYE TO THE UNCOMFORTABLE INFRARED TRANSMITTERS ON THE PIT WALL:
the use of the GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO system for lap time detection makes CORSARO-II R totally autonomous without the need for trackside references such as the transmitters used by the old generation infrared-based systems.
Everything then becomes much simpler, without the hassle of placing the transmitter with the uncomfortable battery to be recharged and the risk of forgetting it on the wall or suffering its theft.

3) GOAL MANAGEMENT AND 3 INTERMEDIATES:
Thanks to the library with over 1000 circuits, with relative intermediates, available in the MAAT instrument or software or with the automatic or manual positioning functions, it is possible to manage the coordinates of 4 goals (main goal + 3 optional intermediates), at the passage on each finish line and intermediate CORSARO-II R indicates the relative travel time and stores the value, it is therefore possible to quickly evaluate one's performance even in parts of the track far from the main straight, which would be expensive and inconvenient to achieve with any other type of stopwatch.

4) INDICATION OF THE IDEAL ACHIEVABLE TIME: thanks to the management of the CORSARO-II R intertimes calculates for each session the time ideally achievable by the pilot, this function is obtained by adding the best times in the sector. It is thus possible to understand what would have been the lap time obtainable if you had not found traffic at a particular point of the track or if you had made a lap to the maximum of your absolute possibilities.

5) "BEST LAP" LED WITH DOUBLE FUNCTION: the "BEST LAP" LED lights up when the previous lap improves and flashes if the lap ended is the best of the session, this solution allows you to give the rider the information necessary for the performance without distracting him. If the intermediate goals have been set, the LED is also activated when passing on each intermediate, it is therefore a very convenient tool to understand, without distraction, if you are improving compared to the same intertime of the previous lap or if you have just achieved the best intertime of the session.

6) GPS SPEED DETECTION: the advantage of using the GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO system also translates into the possibility of detecting the speed of the vehicle with extreme precision and without the need to install sensors on the vehicle, it does not require any setting by the user and, above all, the detection is always precise and not distorted by the inclination of the vehicle or by any inevitable skidding or deformation of the tire.

7) ENGINE REV COUNTER* WITH SETTABLE OFF-TURN FLASH: CORSARO-II R is not only a stopwatch and speedometer but it is also an engine rev counter with the possibility of setting the shift speed set by the user and signaled by the high-power LEDs of the Fuorigiri Flash that can also be configured in color. It is also possible to view the speed on the display. The detection of the engine speed can take place either by placing the inductive cable near one of the ignition coils, or by connecting it to the signal wire that goes to the original rev counter.

8) GEAR INDICATOR INSERTED* and WATER TEMPERATURE* WITH ADJUSTABLE ALARM: CORSARO-II R is also able to indicate the gear entered by calculating the ratio between the engine revolutions and the wheel speed; with the optional temperature sensor it is also able to indicate the water temperature.

9) EXHAUST GAS/OIL TEMPERATURE DETECTION* WITH ADJUSTABLE ALARM: CORSARO-II R is equipped with an optional K thermocouple probe input that allows you to detect the exhaust gas temperature, necessary for the correct carburetion of 2-stroke engines, or the oil temperature for 4-stroke engines. You can set a light alarm threshold for the thermocouple probe.

10) DOUBLE HOUR COUNTER FOR THE PERFECT PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OF THE VEHICLE: CORSARO-II R also has two hour counters that   can be reset separately to comply with the periodic maintenance of the vehicle, the hour counters are activated both for the reception of the engine speed signal and for the reception of the speed signal by the GPS + GLONASS, this solution makes the hour counters work   even if you do not want to connect the engine speed signal.

11) BLUETOOTH 4.0 DATA DOWNLOAD AND WiFi: CORSARO-II R is equipped with both Bluetooth and WiFi for setting parameters and goals and downloading the acquired data that can then be analyzed directly with the MAAT software.

12) USABLE WITH MAAT SOFTWARE:
to manage the trajectory analysis functions it is always possible to download from the Starlane website the MAAT software that allows the storage, analysis and printing of the acquired data and the graphic representation of the trajectories traveled with the relative acceleration points and detached allowing the comparison round by lap.

13) MEMORY OF 999 LAPS WITH AUTOMATIC MANAGEMENT OF 99 TEST SESSIONS: CORSARO-II R automatically creates a new session every time you enter the track, in this way you can calmly analyze the times stored in the various sessions even at the end of the day without being forced to erase the memory before each entry on the track. The Date and Time of each session are stored and, for each lap, the relative total time, intervals, maximum speed, maximum engine revolutions are stored.

14) CYCLIC MEMORY MANAGEMENT: with CORSARO-II R you will never find yourself in the condition of exhausted memory in fact, to allow easy continuous use, it manages the available space by automatically deleting older sessions when the memory is almost exhausted.

15) MEMORIZATION OF THE FINISH LINE COORDINATES OF THE MOST USED SLOPES: it is possible to store the coordinates acquired for the finish line of the tracks on which you train most frequently, up to 16 circuits can be stored, so you can easily recall the finish line of the current track without having to reset it every time.

16) TRANSFLECTIVE DISPLAY WITH TOUCH SCREEN: CORSARO-II R is equipped with a display that uses transflective technology, a feature that allows full visibility even under direct sunlight and with the backlight off. The precise resisted Touch Screen allows easy use of the device even while wearing gloves. This solution has allowed the development of an icon interface of unparalleled simplicity and immediacy in the analysis of stored data and in the setting of the functions desired by the user.

17) INTERNAL BATTERY AND EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY: equipped with internal lithium battery and also powered by the 12V battery of the vehicle. Corsaro-II R is equipped with powerful user-adjustable power saving and auto-off functions to make the most of battery performance. It is supplied with a specific extension cord with eyelets for connection on the battery and a connector on the side of the instrument that allows quick disconnection.

18) COMPLETE WATERPROOFING: CORSARO-II R is water resistant and it is therefore possible to use it even in case of rain.
