Charles Leclerc Kart CL Chassis – BirelArt CL30 S19 – KZ
Now at the top of Formula 1 with Ferrari, Charles Leclerc has never forgotten where his motorsport journey began: karting. From this awareness, the Charles Leclerc Kart project was born, with the aim of contributing to the development of the discipline and making it accessible and competitive for a wider audience.
To bring this project to life, it was natural for Charles to turn to BirelArt, a world-renowned Italian brand known for its manufacturing quality and technical expertise in international karting.
For Charles, BirelArt is a choice of both heart and mind.
“You must always remember where you come from. I know what I owe to karting: everything. It’s where my passion for motorsport was born, where I learned the fundamentals that allowed me to reach the top, and where I met some of the most important people who supported me along the way. I had been determined to do something for karting for a long time, and now is the right moment.”
BirelArt’s technical capabilities have also been confirmed by major sporting achievements, including a prestigious one-two finish at the KZ World Championship in Lonato, further reinforcing the goal of creating a chassis bearing the Charles Leclerc name capable of performing at the highest level in all conditions. Only a major manufacturer like BirelArt can guarantee such high production quality on a large scale.
Technical evolution and development
Following a very successful racing season and highly positive feedback from importers and customers worldwide, further development work was carried out on karts and accessories. In parallel with the new CIK-FIA homologations, new products were introduced within the BirelArt – Free Line range, while retaining the excellent technical base of the S18-B models.

CL30 S19 – New homologation
The CL30 S19 has been specifically developed for KZ gearbox categories. Compared to previous versions, the chassis has undergone significant structural, geometric and material updates, making it even more versatile and capable of delivering high performance across a wide range of track conditions.
- Brake balance: the new brake adjusts facilitates the adjustment of the distribution and improves its functioning.

- Rear hubs d.50: The new Freeline hubs HQ have the double fixing screw with a better axle grips in order to maintain a perfect assilaity and avoid the movement.
