It is an evolution of the R model, compared to which it is wider (+ 4 cm). That is why it is favoured in the shifter classes, precisely because the characteristic of the engines is that they heat up more than non-shifters. However, in non-shifter classes, it is used by those in search of maximum performance.
It is the unquestioned best seller of the New-Line Racing range. Basically, its versatility makes it ideal for all classes, both shifter and non-shifter. Its outstanding cooling ability have been analysed, developed and refined in collaboration in conjunction with some of the world’s most prestigious chassis and engine manufacturers’ racing teams.
This cooperation stimulated New-Line Racing’s technical department, which developed optimised solutions to improve the performance of the radiator core. Above all, there is the “V-shaped” water inlet on the radiator, capable of improving the distribution of water over the entire width of the radiator core, in order to best exploit its cooling capacity.
When it was launched, back in 2000, the fact that it was completely hand-built using TIG welding represented a real innovation capable of drawing the attention of the most demanding operators in the industry to New-Line Racing.
