SmartyCam 4 Corsa is the AiM on-board camera specifically designed for motorsport, ideal for touring cars, sports cars and track use.

It is not just a simple video camera: it records Full HD videos with real-time data overlay, turning every session into a complete tool for analyzing driving, performance and vehicle behavior.

Thanks to connection with GPS, AiM logger and ECU, SmartyCam 4 Corsa can display the most important session data directly on the video, such as speed, engine RPM, lap times, split times, gear, track map and channels acquired from the available sensors.

The graphic overlays are fully configurable through RaceStudio 3: complete graphic sets can be selected, individual elements can be combined, and logo, track map and custom information can be added, creating clear, professional videos immediately useful for analysis.

Data recording allows work on three key areas:
✔ Improving driver performance by analyzing racing lines, lap times and behavior lap after lap
✔ Monitoring vehicle status by checking parameters such as temperatures, oil pressure, battery voltage and other available channels
✔ Optimizing setup and performance by comparing sensors and parameters to understand which changes provide real benefits

With RaceStudio 3 it is possible to automatically split the session into individual laps and compare two laps side by side, precisely identifying where time is gained or lost compared to the best lap or another reference.

The 85° low-distortion wide-angle lens provides a wide and natural view, ideal for capturing the track, steering wheel, dashboard and surrounding environment without excessive distortion.

The 12 MP Sony CMOS sensor, combined with the Sony LSI stabilizer, ensures sharp images, realistic colors and high image quality even in difficult conditions. Electronic stabilization reduces vibrations and typical racing disturbances, improves image stability, corrects the “jello” effect and optimizes visual quality.

SmartyCam 4 Corsa can read ECU data through the CAN line, with thousands of protocols already available in the AiM database. If the protocol is not available, RaceStudio 3 allows a custom one to be created using the ECU Driver Builder.

The camera records channels from the CAN line and internal sensors directly into the video file, allowing video and data to be synchronized in a single format ready for analysis and archiving.

The CNC-machined anodized aluminum body, sapphire front glass and IP65 protection make SmartyCam 4 Corsa suitable for racing use, protecting it from vibrations, impacts, dust, water and harsh environmental conditions.

The USB-C port performs several functions: it allows configuration transfer, track updates, live view framing setup and use of the USB-C memory to store videos and data.

Management can also be performed from a smartphone through the RaceStudio 3 app, with control of settings such as framing, frame rate, image orientation and live data display from connected devices.

During the session, the camera makes operation as simple as possible: it powers on, starts recording, stops the video and switches off automatically, allowing the driver to focus only on driving.

With an AiM GPS module connected, SmartyCam 4 Corsa automatically recognizes the circuit and starts track mapping. If the circuit is not included in the database, it can be created manually through RaceStudio 3.

The H.264/H.265 video format provides excellent image quality while keeping files easy to manage, ideal for storage, analysis and sharing.
