Tony Kart Racer 401 T – KZ Chassis

The Tony Kart Racer 401 T – KZ represents the most advanced evolution of Tony Kart’s reference chassis for the shifter categories, combining a winning tradition, continuous technical development and dedicated solutions for top-level performance in KZ karting.

The chassis is entirely manufactured from Ø 30 mm chrome-molybdenum steel tubing, featuring a proven and unchanged geometry that ensures balance, structural rigidity and driving precision. The chassis offers extensive setup possibilities: ride height adjustment, stiffness tuning via the front torsion bar, and a wide range of camber and caster adjustments, thanks to multi-hole eccentric inserts with integrated uniball.

Winning tradition and Racing Team development

For over twenty years, the Racer has been the flagship model of the Tony Kart range, achieving numerous world titles and major international victories. The 401 T version is the result of close cooperation between the OTK Kart Group R&D department and the Tony Kart Racing Team, aimed at preserving the historic strengths of the chassis while introducing ever more advanced technical solutions, developed and tested directly in competition.

M11 bodywork kit – Advanced aerodynamic efficiency

The Racer 401 T – KZ is equipped with the M11 bodywork kit, developed through CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing. The new M11 front number panel and M11 front spoiler provide a significant reduction in aerodynamic drag, improving speed, stability and overall performance, especially on fast circuits.
The aerodynamic package is completed by M10 side pods and rear protection, along with the full-coverage floor tray, which reduces air turbulence in the front area of the chassis and maximizes aerodynamic efficiency. The whole assembly is finished with renewed graphics, modern and aggressive, in true Tony Kart style.

BWZ braking system – Top braking performance in KZ

For the KZ category, the Racer 401 T features the advanced BWZ braking system, specifically developed for shifter classes. The system ensures high braking power, excellent modulation and consistent performance, even under extreme operating conditions.
The technical solutions significantly improve heat dissipation at the calipers and master cylinder, reducing brake fluid temperatures and increasing overall reliability. The BWZ system is available with a 180 mm or 206 mm rear brake disc, allowing further fine-tuning of the setup.

Tailored driving position

The chassis retains the OTK multi-adjustable aluminium pedals and the angled steering hub, allowing precise customization of the driving position. The HGS steering wheel, featuring a high-grip rubber coating, improves comfort and control while reducing driver fatigue, especially in demanding driving conditions.
