The Tony Kart Racer 401 T – OK represents the absolute benchmark for the Direct Drive categories, confirming the winning DNA that has distinguished the Racer model at the highest levels of international karting for over twenty years.

The chassis is entirely built from Ø 30 mm chrome-molybdenum steel tubing, with a proven geometry that remains unchanged, ensuring balance, driving precision and reliability. The chassis offers extensive setup possibilities: ride height adjustment, stiffness tuning via the front torsion bar, and a wide range of camber and caster adjustments, thanks to multi-hole eccentric inserts with integrated uniball.

Winning tradition and continuous development

The Racer has always been the flagship model of the Tony Kart range. Throughout its racing history it has achieved numerous world titles and international victories across all categories. The 401 T version is the result of the continuous development work carried out by the OTK Kart Group R&D department, in close collaboration with the Tony Kart Racing Team, while preserving the core principles of the project: top-quality materials, advanced manufacturing processes and constant development based on experience gained on the world’s most demanding circuits.

M11 bodywork kit – Advanced aerodynamic efficiency

The Racer 401 T – OK is equipped with the M11 bodywork kit, developed through CFD simulations and wind tunnel testing. The new M11 front number panel and M11 front spoiler provide a significant reduction in aerodynamic drag, delivering clear benefits in terms of speed and stability, especially on fast circuits.
The package is completed by M10 side pods and rear protection, along with the full-coverage floor tray, which reduces air turbulence in the front area of the chassis and further improves overall aerodynamic efficiency. The entire assembly is finished with renewed graphics, modern and aggressive while remaining faithful to the Tony Kart style.

BWD braking system – Racing performance for OK classes

For the OK category, the Racer 401 T is fitted with the new BWD braking system, specifically developed for Direct Drive classes. The one-piece forged rear caliper operates with two Ø 34.5 mm pistons featuring automatic stroke recovery and is combined with upgraded brake lines and DOT 5.1 brake fluid.
Calipers and master cylinder are manufactured from Ergal, selected for its excellent mechanical strength, further enhanced by a hard anodizing process that minimizes wear of moving components and ensures consistent braking performance even under extreme conditions. The system is available with a 180 mm or 206 mm rear brake disc, depending on setup requirements.

Tailored driving position

The chassis retains the OTK multi-adjustable aluminium pedals and the angled steering hub, allowing precise customization of the driving position. The HGS steering wheel, featuring a high-grip rubber coating, improves comfort and reduces driver fatigue, offering maximum sensitivity and control.
